Today we started a brand new series looking a the Sermon on the Mount; learning from the very words of Jesus. Alison kicked off the series with a brief intro on what the Sermon on the Mount is and then looked at Jesus first lesson- the Beatitudes and what it means to be blessed.

This week in our Joseph series we looked in depth at one particular story that happened during his time in slavery, specifically what happened with Potiphar's wife. Travis showed us how Joseph was able to survive temptaion and not let it knock him out and how we can do the same.

Continuing with our series on Joseph's life, this week, Alison looked at all the difficulty and suffering that Joseph went through, from his brothers hating him, slavery, falsly accused of a crime, and imprisonment. In spite all of this hardship, Joseph survived and thrived becoming 2nd in all of Egypt only to Pharoah. How did Joseph make it through tough times and how can we learn to do the same?

This weekend started our Joseph series where we are looking at the life of this man and what we can learn from him. For our first topic, Kirk talked about howJoseph did a great job getting himself hated by his brothers and what we can do to be liked.
What is God's ultimate promise? Wouldn't it be nice if He just spelled it all out for us? Well He does, in His Word. Join Travis this Easter as he digs into a story from the Old Testament that points directly at Easter and Jesus.
Christians should never judge others, right? But what does the Bible really say? Alison takes us through how Jesus judged others and how He teaches us the proper way to judge.
We all know that God calls us to forgive but does that mean that we have to forget? That all consequences are erased? Do we have to be best friends again with those who have hurt us the worst? Nik takes us through what the Bible says about forgiveness in this talk.
Sometimes we look at God and Jesus as a good luck charm, nothing bad can ever happen to me if I got Jesus on my side. Kirk examines the scriptures to see where this idea came from and then looks at what God really says about it.
How could a loving God send people to hell? Find out a bit more about heaven and what God really promises us about the afterlife as Kirk digs into what the Bible actually says.
