Sometimes we think we just "need more faith" as if we could manipulate God or just think positively enough to change our situation. And we feel like a failure if things don't turn out the way we hoped. Find out this week what faith is, isn't, and what God really promises the faithful.
Continuing in our series, we looked at another "promise" we sometimes hold onto as Christians- that no matter how bad things are, everything is happening for a reason. To teach us or grow us, make us better people- every bad thing in life is really a "blessing in disguise" and therefore a good thing. Learn why thinking this is what God says is dangerous and find out what he really does say!
This week we started our new series called Broken Promises? where we look at things we think God promises us and study what He actually said. If we believe in promises that were never made, it can seriously damage our faith! Travis starts us off by looking at prayer and how we often think that if we pray hard enough or long enough or often enough, we should get what we want. Find out what God actually says about prayer by listening in.
Andy Vano shares about what he has learned from his many mission trips and challenges us to see the missionfield around us in 2012.
Pharisees devoted their lives to Gods law and yet they completely missed Jesus, the Messiah they were waiting for! How did they go from good to bad?
Judas was one of the twelve- he walked with Jesus everyday for three years!!! And yet he betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. How could someone with such a good start do such a bad thing? Find out!
Ananias and Sapphira were husband and wife who started off good and then made a huge mistake that cost them their lives! Find out what they did and how we can avoid making the same mistake.
Lucifer was an angel of the Lord. How did he go from working for God in Heaven to leading a rebellion against Him? Listen in as Travis explains more about Lucifer and his failures and how we can avaid making those same mistakes in our lives.
Solomon was the son of David and became the King of Israel after his father. He had an amazing start, good things definitely looked to be in the future for this king. But Solomon made some bad choices and he ended up far away from God. This week find out what mistakes Solomon made and how we can avoid them as well.
Travis kicked off a brand new series this weekened, How the Good go Bad, where we look at different people in the Bible that had great starts but made some huge mistakes that ended things badly. What were their pitfalls how can we avoid the same crash and burn they experienced? We started things off with a look at Saul, the first King of Israel.
This whole series we have been going through the Book of Mark, looking at Jesus' life, what He did, what He said, how He treated people. Finally we see it all come to this. Why did Jesus come, why did Jesus die for us? Listen in.

If Jesus is God why did he need to pray? Prayer must be really important. This week we looked at one of the times Jesus prayed and what it tells us about the importance of prayer.
What kinds of things makes God angry? Is anger a sin outright? How should we handle our anger? THis week we look at a passage in Mark that Jesus shows some anger. Find out what he did and what we can learn from it here!
We have been looking behind the scenes the last few weeks, into the life of Jesus, but can we ever truly know everything about him? What is faith, why do we need it, and why did some people in the Bible have it and others didn't? Find out the answers to these questions and what it even means to me today by listening in!
Jesus was asked a lot of tough questions by people who wanted to discredit him and yet, Jesus brillantly answered all of their questions? What were thos tough questions, what were his answers, and why is it important for us to know Jesus is the Answer-man?
This week we look at 2 different stories with the same result, a miracle. How does this show us more of who Jesus is and how he provides for our needs today?
So we have already seen that Jesus is a genius!! But why is he sometimes so confusing? There are plenty of times where we see Jesus speak plainly and his disciples just don't get it! Find out what they were missing and how we might be missing the same.
Why did Jesus do and say things the way he did while he was on earth? Was there more than meets the eye with everything that he did? Find out the bigger picture by listening to this!
Jesus is the son of God, a fact which he claims often. Yet in the beginning of Mark we see Jesus tell people not to reveal who he is. Why would he do this, what does it mean? Travis takes us on an awesome journey to see behind the scenes.
Digging right into Chapter 1 of Mark we see someone new come on the scene, the Holy Spirit. Why is the Holy Spirit so important? Also, why did Jesus have to be baptized? Find out!!
