Every year, we spend two incredible weeks up at the Klamath River near the California and Oregon border with Adventure Whitewater white water rafting, jumping off rocks, swimming in the river, and sleeping and worshipping God underneath the stars. We load up in 15 passenger vans and take an adventure of a lifetime. Are you feeling the #WhitewaterHype ?!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
We caravan up to Adventure Whitewater primarily in 15-passenger vans and trucks. Our drivers have to be at least 25 years old, but the majority are much older than that. Drivers of vans have a CA commercial license.
-
Yes! There is space on the registration form for friend requests. We will do our best to make sure each student gets to be with their friends.
-
The rapids we raft are mainly class 2 rapids with a few class 3 rapids. This is based on a 6-tier classification system. If rafters fall out of a raft, they will immediately get into “swimmer’s position” and will safely be pulled into the raft.

We don’t want finances to stand in the way of your son/daughter joining us at camp. We have payment plans available during the registration process and scholarships available based upon need. If you would like more information about scholarships, email Gordy Nixon – gnixon@northcoastchurch.com

All students and staff sleep underneath the stars on tarps and mattress pads at Adventure Whitewater’s property called Paradise Point about 18 miles southwest from Happy Camp, CA. Just search for Cottage Grove, CA on Google or Apple Maps to see right around where we stay.
Male and female students/staff sleep on opposite sides of the property.

Adventure Whitewater and JH78 requires students to wear closed-toed shoes while on the raft. An old pair of Vans or Nikes with laces work great! They will get ruined by the end of the trip so don’t buy new shoes.
Students cannot wear open-toed water shoes. Also, common slip-on water shoes are not recommended because they can easily slip off while on the river.
